Friends of the Dorset Lavender Farm Project have contributed time, effort and money to help our project get started.

We appreciate the donations of seeds, plant pots and compost to help us grow our first Fiddleford seedlings, planted into our barnyard beds and ready for field rows.

We also appreciate those Friends who have sponsored a row of a particular named variety, or have looked after young plants in their greenhouses and polytunnels (Growing Partners such as Stourcastle Day Care Centre, Guy’s Marsh Prison, Kingston Maurward College of Agriculture, Sturminster Newton Musuem and Mill Society members and many other helpful local individuals.)

We have been fortunate to gain donations of funds to build our premises and develop the barnyard into a working environment, with a portacabin, a wood storage area, potting and carpentry benches, compost bins and an eco-toilet.
